Australian MSSP ctrl:cyber has launched Rio (Risk Intelligence Overlay), an AI-powered cyber risk platform intended to give businesses a single, unified view of risk across every security tool and vendor in their environment.
Rio connects across an organisation's existing cyber services and tooling – regardless of vendor – to surface a single view of business risk, updated in real time.
Rather than replacing the tools businesses already rely on, Rio sits above them, translating fragmented technical data into a clear, business-level risk picture that security teams, executives and boards can all work from, the company claimed.
It was developed in direct response to feedback from ctrl:cyber's existing customer base, who consistently identified the same challenge: not a lack of security tools, but a lack of a single source of truth pulling them together.
Rio was designed and engineered end-to-end by ctrl:cyber's in-house team in Australia, meaning local data handling, local engineering accountability, and a platform shaped by direct exposure to the Essential Eight, ASD guidance and the specific risk landscape facing Australian organisations.
