Cybersecurity partner ctrl:cyber has an agreement to acquire Razilio, a boutique cybersecurity consultancy of approximately 20 people - and expects another acquisition announcement in "quick succession".
The deal, which is subject to regulatory approvals, follows ctrl:cyber's acquisition of elevenM, a Sydney-based cyber advisory, privacy, AI and data governance consultancy, at the start of 2026.
Razilio was founded in 2019 by Ashley Jones, formerly of Macquarie Group, who in 11-plus years at the financial services organisation held such positions as global head of bizsec enablement, global head of cyber assurance and global head of security assessment.
The company said the deal reflected a deliberate approach to growth focused on investing in people and specialist capability. Its goal was to compete at scale without sacrificing the expertise, agility and client relationships that it saw as defining a specialist consultancy.
The deal between is subject to the regulatory approvals.
In 2025, Pemba Capital Partners took a 50% stake in ctrl:cyber.
