CRN Fast50 extended another two weeks

The CRN Fast50 has received an overwhelming response from resellers keen to prove themselves against their peers.

Some of you have asked for more time to get FY09 financials verified by your accountants, so CRN is extending the deadline for entries until 14 October.

A list of the 50 fastest growing resellers, judged by sales turnover of FY08 versus FY09, will be printed as the cover feature of the December issue.

The fastest growing reseller will win a $75,000 prize package which includes $60,000 of advertising in Haymarket Media websites iTnews, PC Authority Business and Secure Computing, and a $15,000 consulting program to improve your business.

Resellers of all shapes and sizes have signed up for the chance to win the prize.

Entering the CRN Fast50 was part of a broader agenda for IBM reseller Artis Group, a recent entry, to continually prove its mettle.

"We continually seek to benchmark our success, through industry participation and conducting customer satisfaction surveys," said Peter Giudes, Artis' co-founder and managing director.

"This is just another way by which we can measure our organisation. It is only through such benchmarking that we can focus our continual improvement efforts."

Cisco reseller Efficient Data Communications hopes to amplify recent wins with education customers with the $75,000 marketing prize that goes to the winner of the CRN Fast 50.

"I believe that we would have a strong chance to be the No. 1 fastest-growth company [in the CRN Fast 50]," Andrew Lowy, managing director, said.

"If EDC is successful in winning the competition we would like to leverage from the marketing funds provided by CRN to continue to grow our business."
