Cognos, an IBM company, is hoping to fuel its business growth by adding new partners across all major industry areas, particularly from the public sector, financial services and retail.
David Merchant, marketing manager Australia and New Zealand at Cognos, said the drive is demonstrative of the company’s ongoing commitment to its partner community. According to Merchant, building new alliances is a core component of the company’s plans to support and accelerate its industry growth objectives.
“Partners are a critical part of our industry mandate. Cognos is committed to working with new and existing partners to develop, deliver, and support the industry applications that make our mutual clients more successful,” he said.
“Our partners offer the rich experience we need to help businesses tackle some of the toughest information-intensive challenges in their industry.”
The company claims its standards-based BI and performance management platform will allow customers to take advantage of partner’s industry expertise and specialised knowledge.
“The expanded scale of Cognos under IBM, working together with our partners, extends our ability to foster the creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning that benefits Cognos, our partners, and especially our joint industry customers,” said Merchant.
