Clearswift is looking to expand the number of resellers certified to keep up with market demand for its products through sole distributor itX.
Greg Newham, general manager for itX Distribution, said there are excellent returns for resellers participating in the MIMEsweeper appliance market – and up to 20-30 percent growth.
“Resellers can make money by offering an integrated appliance in their overall solution. They can offer security to their installed base – expanding their existing business and value-add,” he said.
Although itX have done its job expanding the Clearswift channel business since they became sole distributor last year, its now working to build on that success by expanding its reach further by signing a number of new resellers to enjoy the benefits of the Clearswift Partner Program.
Peter Croft, managing director at Clearswift Asia Pacific believes the security market has evolved over the years so that what IT managers are looking for now is integrated plug and play security solutions to protect their networks.
“For email security more IT managers are looking for a solution in a single box that is easy to deploy, manage and support. They need to stop all threats at the gateway, but don’t want to spend valuable time updating virus profiles, tweaking spam thresholds and wading through quarantine lists.
Clearswift have simplified the complexities of content security by providing a plug and play email security appliance, which any reseller, regardless of their security expertise, would have little problem installing let alone selling, he said.
