Cellnet has restructured with original founders Stephen Harrison and Mel Brookman returning to the day-to-day running of the distributor.
Harrison will assume the role of managing director while Brookman has been appointed as sales director. Board members Reg Clairs, previously the chairman, and Ian Fraser have stepped down, and will be replaced by Sandy Beard.
The contributions of Clairs and Fraser were described as "significant in the development of the business", according to Beard.
Harrison said: “Key projects and priorities will be implemented to improve and streamline the business model to reflect a return on investment to investors and embed vendor and customer relationships. To date our performance has been less than satisfactory and we require a fresh approach towards bottom line profit and customer service.”
Harrison added that Cellnet needs to ensure that the market potential is grasped with a clear focus and a defined strategy for the future.
