The National Health and Medical Research Council has awarded Canberra-based managed services provider Digital61 with a managed IT services contract.
The $5 million contract covers managed services supporting the agency’s (NHMRC) corporate ICT environment.
Specifically, the services include desktop support, service desk, application support, infrastructure and network management, among others.
An NHMRC spokesperson told CRN the services are part of a “standard suite" of core ICT support required by Commonwealth agencies.
The contract runs from September 2019 to September 2022.
Earlier this year, Digital61 scored a $14.8 million contract with the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) to provide managed ICT infrastructure services. The company at the time beat out six other bidders, including incumbent provider ASG Group.
