Brisbane-based cloud hosting and web development company ATech has launched its Boost incubator program, with sustainability management platform GreenKPI selected as the first participant.
The ATech Boost program aims to support tech startups by providing $100,000 in cloud hosting credits along with expert guidance and resources over a 12-month period.
Selected startups will receive 36 hours of technical consultation and 10 hours of business growth mentoring from seasoned professionals.
"ATech is investing in the future success of the tech industry by providing startups with the resources they need to grow, Sarah-Jane Peterschlingmann, managing director of ATech, said.
"The ATech Boost incubator program is more than just a funding opportunity—it's a launchpad for innovation," she added.
GreenKPI, a B2B SaaS company focused on simplifying sustainability management, stood out for its innovative approach and was picked by ATech.
The company's platform offers preloaded and customisable sustainability actions, along with automated reporting features to help organisations track and share their environmental progress.
"GreenKPI is thrilled to be selected for the ATech Boost incubator program," the company's chief executive Johanna Kloot said.
Kloot said GreenKPIs solution comes at a time when the Australian Government is moving towards mandatory climate-related disclosures.
"Organisations should start putting into place the systems, processes and governance practices that will meet rapidly changing local and global climate reporting requirements," Kloot added.
ATech said it has previously supported over 300 entrepreneurs across Queensland through educational content, mentoring and networking events, in collaboration with the Queensland Government.
