Brisbane reseller races into the future with rebrand

Brisbane reseller Betta Computer Services has changed its name after around 18 years in business, rebranding as TechPath.

The new name is an attempt to "stand out" as the company continues to grow, said the three-time CRN Fast50 company's managing director, Troy Adams.

"We started out as a computer hardware and services business, but the direction and service offering has changed over the years," Adams told CRN.

Recent growth areas have included a "heavy" investment into data centre services last year and the launch of a hosted desktop platform just over 18 months ago.

There has been no change in ownership, management or technical staff, according to the TechPath website.

The company, which reported 20 percent growth in the 2013 CRN Fast50, also added certification in Citrix and Dell storage and networking to its qualifications in recent years.

TechPath advertises cloud and hosting, business internet, phone systems, managed IT services, IT consulting, software development, as well as hardware from Dell, Apple, Ruckus, Ricoh, QNAP and Cisco among other products and services.
