It will be distributed to the channel via Brightpoint in Australia and Cellnet in New Zealand from mid July from approximately $400.
Wendy Hammond marketing director of Navman said it has been partners with the two companies for a long time and said as a distributor of handsets, Brightpoint ties in nicely with the MY Series.
"Brightpoint has the technical skills and knowledge that we are looking for," she said.
Product feature enhancements include; real time SUNA traffic, weather updates, 'Smart Find' destination input, 3D landmarks, multi-trip planner and a two-year warranty.
Marcus Fry general manager Australia for Navman said users can take advantage of its Navman MY50T, MY55T and MY 500XT to search Google and Truelocal via Bluetooth.
MY500XT comes with an inbuilt digital music and video player.
"In a first for Australian GPS devices, Navman's MY 500XT comes loaded with detailed destination information from leading travel guides Lonely Planet and WCities," he said.
"For the other models, these guides can be purchased and uploaded through Navman's online store."
