Brennan launches Adelaide office

Brennan IT has appointed a state manager for South Australia to head up the solution provider's newly opened Adelaide office.

Alex Tarata, a Brennan consultant for over five years, was appointed state manager and will be responsible for local operations, which currently includes one other consultant.

Speaking to CRN from the Adelaide office, Tarata said Brennan has quite a few big customers in South Australia - especially in hospitality, manufacturing and finance.

He said the business "traditionally had customers in Adelaide", but they are now consciously "targeting South Australian based customers" to provide cloud services to the mid-market.

"Over the years we've become a complete IT&T provider and recently we've seen huge growth in virtualisation and infrastructure-as-a-service," said Tarata.

"We're the only complete IT&T provider there is no [other] providers in our market - the small to medium enterprise market - we're the largest provider of cloud services," he claimed.

Managing director, Dave Stevens said "across the board we are seeing demand for cloud delivered services.

"By having a team in Adelaide we are better able to pursue opportunities in this market, in particular those in the hospitality, finance and manufacturing sectors where we already have an entrenched footprint in South Australia," said Stevens.

Brennan's expansion followed its recent acquisition of S Central.

The S Central acquisition expanded Brennan's physical presence to Newcastle.
