Brennan IT has shaken up its leadership team with the appointment of three senior directors.
Former Telstra director Simon Barlow was recruited in November as general manager of sales for the Sydney-headquartered managed services provider.
Barlow joined Telstra in 2008 as an integrated sales lead, before moving to group manager of Telstra enterprise and government.
In 2011, Barlow was appointed as director Telstra’s of mining, construction, oil and gas customer accounts for its global enterprise services business.
He replaces former general manager of sales Stephen Sims, who stepped up to the chief executive role in December after company founder Dave Stevens stepped back from day-to-day operations to become executive chairman. Stevens told CRN at the time he would continue to focus on mergers and acquisitions after securing a $30 million war chest for deals.
Meanwhile, Brennan IT professional services director Luke McLean has been promoted to general manager of services and consulting. McLean joined Brennan IT in 2014 and was responsible for leading a 60-staff team across pre-sales and solutions architect, project services practice and the IT services practice teams. Prior to joining Brennan IT, McLean was general manager of NSW for Thomas Duryea.
Roz Russell was also hired in April 2015 as general manager of human resources. Russell previously worked in human resources for Vodafone since 2009. She was most recently head of organisational development before joining last year.
The three directors form the new senior leadership team along with founder and executive chairman Dave Stevens, chief executive Stephen Sims, chief financial officer Wayne De Nysschen and general manager of communications Danny Price.
Brennan IT cracked $92 million of revenue in the 2015 financial year, up 20.7 percent year-on-year. The company was crowned as the inaugural CRN Fast50 Icon in 2014, as voted by the country's fastest-growing resellers.
