Local software developer, Beethoven Computer has signed on Simpl, a New Zealand consulting and IT services provider, to support and expand its customer base across the Tasman.
Ross Allardyce CEO at Beethoven, said the agreement between the two companies was established to increase sales of Resolve, Beethoven’s customer care and feedback software, and attract new ones in both the government and commercial sectors.
“We have experienced significant levels of interest in New Zealand, so it made sense to appoint a local partner to look after existing customers,” Allardyce said.
Allardyce said the company has already had success in both the government and commercial arenas in Australia.
“Our intention is to also focus on these areas in the New Zealand market," he said.
Simpl's business development manager for Resolve, Melanie Anderson said Beethoven’s Resolve software was already being used by Nissan New Zealand and passenger rail operator Veolia (formerly Connex Auckland).
The NZ-based service provider will look into targeting the product at other industries such as finance and insurance said Anderson.
