Barracuda has launched Integrated Email Protection, an integrated cloud email security (ICES) tool built on its BarracudaONE platform and aimed at both single and multi-tenant environments.
The tool uses AI to detect and remediate email threats across the attack lifecycle, including after a message has been delivered. It reconciles and explains the differing verdicts reached by Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and Barracuda’s own filters, and can perform post-delivery clawback - pulling a malicious message back out of inboxes tenant-wide once it is identified.
For managed service providers, Barracuda said the tool correlates signals across email, identity, network, data and applications so partners can identify, investigate and eliminate risk from one place, consolidating what would otherwise be separate consoles across a customer base.
New capabilities include agentic threat investigation and response, which triages threat activity and executes real-time, tenant-wide clawback; a conversational AI assistant, Bailey, that explains in plain language how a verdict was reached and lets teams review or reverse any automated action; a unified quarantine that folds Microsoft-quarantined email into Barracuda with automatic rescanning before release; and value reporting that quantifies threats stopped before, during and after delivery.
The tool also integrates natively with Barracuda Managed XDR and the company’s data protection products.
