The appointment follows the promotion of Avnet’s former marketing director, Michael Costigan to director, Marketing and Business Innovation for the Asian region, in August 2008.
Neal has 18 years experience in IT channel sales, vendor and distributor marketing. She will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of the marketing strategies for Avnet’s vendors and channel partners.
“Kendall brings a wealth of proven sales and marketing experience to our team. Her understanding of the channel, and in particular her sales background, sees her as a valuable addition to both our marketing and management teams,” said Costigan.
Neal was previously marketing manager of networking distributor Connectivity Solutions, and has five years experience as marketing manager for networking vendor Allied Telesyn,
She also worked in channel sales for a number of multi-national System Integrators, as well as an account manager for B2B marketing agency, Carlon Leong.
Avnet Technology appoints marketing manager.
