The promotions and new appointments will help AVG strengthen its focus on its valued channel relationships and ensure that the company continues to have the people, infrastructure, systems and processes in place to provide channel support, claimed said Peter Cameron, managing director of AVG A/NZ.
“AVG is committed to setting the standard for quality service in the distribution channel,” he said. “These appointments are designed to ensure we have the resources and structures in place to deliver that benchmark.”
The two promotions and one new appointment will better position AVG to support its channel partners with additional service capabilities as well as new improvements in internal efficiency, said Cameron.
According to Cameron, former channel manager, Tim Dawson has been promoted to ‘Business Innovation Manager’ to focus on business opportunities and upgrading the company’s systems and processes.
James Caldwell has been promoted to 'Channel Manager' to continue the company’s focus on reseller support, building on his past experience in channel account management and client services, he said.
A new recruit for AVG is Michael Chapman who has been appointed as a new 'Reseller Account Manager'. In this role he will be closely working with Cameron and the AVG Channel Team to provide premium quality service to the company’s reseller partners.
