Specialist IT project delivery company Avec has appointed Alex Gray as general manager for New Zealand, effective immediately.
Gray brings over 25 years of experience in various industries, including health, financial services, utilities, and manufacturing.
In his new role, Gray will be responsible for driving Avec's growth across New Zealand, building on the company's existing customer engagements in both public and private sectors.
Gray's experience spans data and analytics, enterprise resource planning, data migrations, and project management, with work history in New Zealand, Australia, and the United States.
"I'm looking forward to working with Avec's wide range of customers and expanding our footprint within the New Zealand market," Gray said.
Avec, which provides technology-agnostic implementation solutions, expanded into New Zealand in January 2024 following a successful financial year in the Australian market.
Gray replaces Sam Collins, who has left the company to pursue other opportunities after being hired in February this year as Avec's general manager of New Zealand.
