Australian digital services and software company has announced that insurer Suncorp has selected the company's Codafication Crunchwork platform to support its property claims process.

Purpose-built for the insurance industry and backed by Microsoft, Crunchwork is a cloud-based business and project management platform.

Codaification's Crunchwork will aim to help Suncorp further enhance its property claims supply chain by improving claim oversight, stakeholder coordination and customer outcomes while providing a platform for designing future-state operating models.

Suncorp selected Codafication following a comprehensive RFP process in which the company was commercially “pressure tested” against large international vendors.

Based in Brisbane, Codafication is 11 years into its journey as a self-funded scaling company with nearly 60 full-time staff. The company is also currently expanding into North America and New Zealand.

"At Suncorp, we're committed to making the claims experience as simple and seamless as possible for our customers. Partnering with Codafication and implementing the Crunchwork platform is an important step in that journey," Alli Smith, EGM of home claims customers at Suncorp, said.

"By modernising the way we manage assessments and repairs, we'll create a more connected and efficient experience that helps customers get back home sooner."

“We’re proud of our ongoing partnership with Suncorp, and are excited to deploy our Crunchwork end to end claim supply chain platform with one of Australia’s leading insurers. It’s always exciting to partner with organisations who have claims transformation as a focus," Dan Sandaver, co-founder and MD of Codafication, said.

"We look forward to continuing to work with Suncorp and deepening our technology deployments in their organisation. We are also excited to continue to support the Australian insurance supply chain by providing automation and industry solutions to make helping customers easier.”
