Anittel taps new CTO
Rob Pickering

CRN Fast50 alumnus Anittel (No.1 2010 and 2011) today announced the appointment of Rob Pickering as its chief technology officer.

Pickering joined the systems integrator giant in 2010 spending the past few years working in service delivery and information support systems within the company's national engineering and operations team.

He was most recently Anittel's national engineering manager and director of consulting. Before Anittel, Pickering headed up IT in APAC for a large manufacturing company.

“Rob brings into the role a wealth of knowledge from working outside of a consulting organisation and also from running a large technical team while managing a number of key Anittel accounts," Anittel managing director Peter Kazacos said in a statement.

Pickering on his appointment said: “I thank the board and executive of Anittel for the opportunity and am looking forward to working closely with our partners, clients, staff and the wider industry. My focus will be on continuing to bring innovative products to market and providing technical leadership across the business.”

He will be based in Anittel's new Melbourne CBD office and will be part of the Anittel executive team reporting directly to Kazacos.
