Distributor Altech Computers has added Dell PowerEdge servers to its roster of Dell products. The company has represented Dell’s printer and monitor business for the last two years.
“The small and medium business market is extremely important to Dell. As the backbone of the Australian economy, we’re delighted to be able to offer SMB customers greater choice when implementing their Dell solution.
“As a trusted Dell distribution partner and with a wide reach of resellers in the small business segment, Altech Computers was a natural fit through which to offer Dell servers,” he said.
Altech managing director Antony Sheen said the PowerEdge line is a natural addition for the company. “Altech [is] the first distributor to stock Dell servers locally,” he said, in a statement.
The PowerEdge range is available, starting with entry level servers, from Altech immediately.
