Activeport reports revenue growth across all divisions after restructure

ASX-listed Activeport Group has reported revenue growth across its Software, Network and Services divisions in the first quarter of FY27, with a restructure since the appointment of a new chief operating officer delivering $2 million in annualised savings.

The company said the savings include $1.85 million in payroll reductions following the appointment of Michael Glynn as COO and a "change of management style".

Software revenue grew as FY26 projects were completed and entered production. The company said a strong pipeline of new projects commencing in Q1 and Q2 is expected to accelerate revenue growth through FY27.

Activeport said it has refreshed the user interface for its core software - which connects data centres and telco networks — with a launch scheduled for September.

The company said customer interest in India has also increased significantly as new digital infrastructure providers enter the market, with data centre operators and telcos seeking the platform to launch their own customer portals.

Global Edge, Activeport's international network service, launched in July. More than six international telcos have committed to the service, with circuit order volume growing monthly, the company said.

The platform enables international carriers to buy network services terminating on Activeport's Australian network. Singapore is scheduled to be added in September, with further countries to follow.

Planned additions include connections between data centres, managed firewalls, cloud connectivity and SD-WAN.

The Services business, now fully integrated into the Activeport Group, is expanding capabilities in neocloud infrastructure, networks and DevOps to meet demand for the company's technical expertise in the AI sector, the company said.

AI projects are under way in Australia and Canada, with more countries planned.

The company said it is applying its GPU orchestration technology to improve the price-performance of AI models running on GPU clusters in telco networks and data centres, which it expects to create a new source of software revenue.
