We can’t remember a time when the Apple rumour mill wasn’t grinding away on overtime and it’s not about to slow down any time soon. The latest reports from the interwebs have seen a Korea Times industry insider spill the details on a collaboration between Apple and LG with regards to screen production for the next-gen iPhone and iPad.
The source stated that Apple and LG are expected to meet within the next few days to discuss displays for a previously rumoured smaller 7.35in tablet.
The next iteration of the iPhone is also said to feature a 4in display, which would fix the main gripe that most users have with the current iPhone 4S. As to whether or not Apple will crack the curving gorilla glass problem, we’ll have to wait and see (and yes, we know that other phones have curved Gorilla Glass screens, we're talking about a flat screen with curved edges here).
As always, it’s best to take all of these rumours with a pinch of salt, but given the frequency with which they crop up, we might see Appleites rocking smaller iPads by this time next year…
