Which PC solutions do you deploy?

Lenovo desktops, tablets; Apple products including iPads; hybrid including those from Toshiba and Lenovo. 

When did your company first get involved in PCs?

We started off in 1998 – remember the Amstrad? It was a long time ago!

What are your PC credentials?

Lenovo  and Apple certifications.

Who are your main PC distributors?

Ingram Micro, Avnet, Express Data, Dicker Data and Synnex.

Any cool or interesting recent PC technology is occupying your thoughts?

I went to CES in January where I saw a number of items that caught my attention, but mostly a FLIR adaptor for iPhones, which has a huge amount of applications for all sorts of industries. Also a scanner mouse was very interesting.

Can you tell us about a recent PC deployment you have done?

We deployed more than 300 desktops and tablets for a large South Australian school. It's interesting to see the 1:1 policy in schools in action, how it maps to the curriculum, and how students of all ages are engaging with technology.

What is driving customers’ PC projects?

It is definitely changing. More clients are going cloud and using either thin clients or some form of tablet or mobile device. Mobility is another big driver with mobile workforces making a huge impression.
