Leader Computers Kicks Off 2025 National Trade-Only Expo in Adelaide with Record Attendance
Australia’s largest locally owned IT distributor, Leader Computers, launched its highly anticipated 2025 Trade-Only Expo in Adelaide this week, marking the start of a nationwide tour across major capital cities.
The Adelaide event, held Tuesday night, brought together over 40 of the world’s leading technology vendors under one roof, with hundreds of resellers in attendance to explore emerging opportunities and cutting-edge innovations reshaping the IT channel.

Now in its 27th consecutive year, the Leader Expo has become a cornerstone of the Australian IT calendar. Designed exclusively for the channel, the event provides resellers with direct access to vendors, hands-on product demonstrations, and insights into market trends that are set to define 2025 and beyond.
Theo Kristoris, Founder and Managing Director of Leader Computers, said the event is more than just a showcase—it's a business-building engine for the channel.
“For 27 years, we’ve proudly hosted this event to empower our reseller network. This year is particularly exciting—with over 40 of the world’s top IT brands participating, we’re helping partners seize major growth opportunities. From the Windows 10 end-of-support refresh cycle to the explosive demand for AI-ready infrastructure, 2025 is shaping up to be a landmark year,” said Kristoris.
With Windows 10 support ending on October 14th, 2025, millions of PCs across Australia will require urgent upgrades—creating what Leader describes as one of the biggest PC refresh opportunities of the decade.
“This is a rare moment for the channel. Businesses will need to upgrade their fleets quickly, and resellers who move early and prepare with the right vendor partnerships stand to benefit immensely,” Kristoris added.
Another major theme of this year’s Expo is the growing adoption of artificial intelligence and its impact on computing requirements.
“AI is no longer a buzzword—it’s a business priority. As organisations look to run AI workloads on-premise or directly on devices, the demand for powerful, secure, and local compute is surging. Our vendor partners are showcasing the exact solutions resellers need to capitalise on this shift,” Kristoris explained.
The Adelaide event featured interactive booths, breakout sessions, and networking opportunities with industry experts from vendors spanning cloud, security, networking, infrastructure, and software. Among the top brands participating this year are Microsoft, Lenovo, Gigabyte, MSI, APC, Yealink, and Ubiquiti, among many others.
Attendees praised the event for its energy, organisation, and value.
Following the successful Adelaide launch, the Leader Expo will continue its national tour in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth over the coming months.
“Our goal is to bring this world-class experience to resellers in every major city. We know how hard our partners work, and we’re committed to giving them the tools, knowledge, and vendor connections to win in 2025,” Kristoris said.
Registration for upcoming cities is now open at www.leaderexpo.com.au, with limited spots available for each venue.
As the IT landscape evolves rapidly—with lifecycle changes, AI disruption, and increasing demand for edge computing—Leader’s long-running commitment to the channel continues to position Australian resellers for success.
“We’re a distributor built by Australians, for Australians. These expos are part of our promise to stay close to our partners and help them grow—every single year,” Kristoris concluded.
