Datacom has teamed with NextDC in a national collocation agreement that will also see Datacom offering dual data centre services.
The trans-Tasman integrator will offer collocation and dual data centre services in each state capital, according to NextDC. This includes a commitment for 24 racks in NextDC's new Perth data centre.

A high-speed link now connects the NextDC Perth facility with Datacom's existing Perth data centre, which recently underwent a multimillion-dollar upgrade.
As well as adding to Datacom's existing capacity, the agreement means Datacom can offer existing customers a dual data centre solution.
Datacom has nine data centres in the Asia Pacific region, as well as access to additional capacity in a further eight, third party facilities.
