HP’s first Ultrabook has been a long time coming (we first caught wind of it back in July) but today the PC giant lifted the curtains off its first offering – the HP Folio 13.
Packing a 13.3in display and tipping the scales at 1.5kg, the Folio 13 should be portable enough for most, although the uniform 18mm thickness may seem a tad on the chunky side when compared to the likes of Asus’ Zenbook or Apple's MacBook Air.
On the bright side, the Folio 13 does offer quite a bit of bang for your buck, with Intel’s latest processors, USB 3.0 and a speedy 128GB of SSD storage included. Prices start at £850 – in line with the lesser-specced 11in MacBook Air.
Either way, the once-sparse Ultrabook market is beginning to grow, with more and more new arrivals stepping into the arena in a bid to ensnare your wallets. Which one will you go for? Let us know on in the comments section below.
