In an exclusive interview with CRN, Nicholas Sikiotis claimed he resigned from his position as director of Zylotech's board because it was the "best thing for the company".
He said in the end it was what the major shareholders wanted to help the company move forward.
"[The resignation] leaves me open to possibly go back or do something with the company in the future," he said.
"It was the best thing for me to do because the board is now running the company its own way."
Sikiotis claimed that the board has not "kept" him "informed in accordance with the way it should have as a director during the month of January".
"I am very troubled with the board's recent decisions which I have played no part in," he claimed.
"It has not provided me with notices of meetings and has made decisions with no explanation or guidance as to how the board directors have satisfied themselves arising from my dismissal."
Sikiotis claimed he now has legal action pending against the board for defamation and fully reserves all his rights against Zylotech jointly and severely.
"I have no idea how long it will take, of course I will finish the legal action," claimed Sikiotis.
"In these sorts of cases it takes a long time."
"I am now looking for other opportunities and am in communication with major shareholders of the company to look at possibilities within the company."
Zylotech interim CEO, Steven McKay, wasn't available for a comment at the time of press.
