Xero has reached 250,000 users in Australia, as subscriptions to cloud accounting software continue to grow.
By comparison, Xero reported 200,000 users in Australia in March and now claims 540,000 subscribers around the world. MYOB reported over 116,000 cloud subscribers in February.
This week Xero also announced its first formal IT channel program as well as integration partnerships with Adobe, Dropbox, Bigcommerce and others, exposing the platform to hundreds of thousands of customers from well known vendors.
Adobe is integrating its Adobe Document Cloud eSgin service with Xero, allowing users to electronically sign and sumit tax documents. Meanwhile Bigcommerce users will be able to have their sales data recorded in Xero and Dropbox will integrate its business version with Xero Tax.
A new feature will also allow Xero users to search for the credit risk of prospective customers and suppliers, as well as other information.
