Updated 7 July 1:21PM: added comment from Webroot's spokesperson.
Webroot's Asia-Pacific managing director Robbie Upcroft has left the vendor after nearly 18 months.
Upcroft confirmed the departure to CRN but declined to comment further.
Upcroft joined the information security vendor in March 2015, after former managing director Crispin Kerr was let go after four years in the top job.
According to LinkedIn, Upcroft was responsible for rebuilding Webroot's go-to-market Asia-Pacific operations, and more than doubled the number of local reseller partners during his stint.
Prior to joining Webroot, he was general manager for distributor Arrow ECS from 2014 to 2015. He also spent time at McAfee as sales manager for SMB and distribution.
A Webroot spokesperson told CRN: "We appreciate the work Robbie did for our company, and we wish him the best. Webroot is committed to the ANZ market, and VP of worldwide business sales Charlie Tomeo will take the lead for this region going forward."
