Openmarkets Group has been awarded ISO 27001:2022 certification by Global Compliance Certification (GCC), the wealth fintech and wholesale share trading application programming interface provider said.
ISO 27001:2022 is an internationally recognised standard for establishing, maintaining, and improving information security management systems.
The certification positions Openmarkets to manage data security risks and align with global best practices in a rapidly evolving digital environment.
GCC conducted a comprehensive review before awarding the certification, which is valid for three years and audited annually.
Openmarkets’ chief executive officer, Dan Jowett, stressed the importance of meeting this standard as cyber-attacks become more frequent and damaging.
Jowett said the certification is evidence of Openmarkets’ efforts to protect its business and clients from cyber threats.
He added that strong information systems are vital to Openmarkets’ long-term growth and ambition to expand its financial products and services.
