The first package is called the Wi-Fi package and will launch on Monday December 1. It is aimed at SMB/Es of between 15 and 24 staff.
Package pricing is broken down into three parts - with more add-ons available to boot.
The first part – Vodafone services – is said to start from a GST-inclusive $2,599 per month and covers fixed calls, mobile calls, text messages and mobile email for the entire business.
The base monthly package includes 8,000 mobile minutes, 2,250 fixed calls, 1,000 TXT and unlimited mobile email, the telco said in a statement.
The mobile minutes equates to 133 hours of talk time – around 11 minutes per person per day based on a calculation of 30 days per month and the maximum 24 staff on the single plan.
The second part of the package is a monthly equipment rental fee. This starts at a GST-inclusive $1,099 per month.
There is pool of equipment on offer, including BlackBerry enterprise server, Cisco integrated services router, a Cisco unified communications system and a Cisco-based secure wireless network.
According to Vodafone, the equipment rental plan is offered over a 48-month contract. Services are offered on two 24-month contracts, with a chance to review and change after the first one expires.
The third part of the package is not priced. This is the dual-mode smartphones or fixed Cisco IP phones businesses will need to take advantage of the package capabilities. These are available either outright or under various monthly plans.
A fourth part is also said to be available at an additional cost. One Office gives free and unlimited fixed and mobile calls between all office staff every month.
Vodafone is expected to announce its full Business One portfolio in ‘early 2009’.
