Velrada scores $3.2 million Dynamics deal with Club Assist

Australian Microsoft partner Velrada has scooped a $3.2 million mult-year deal with the Victorian branch of Club Assist.

Club Assist is a global organization that partners with motoring clubs to offer services like roadside battery supply and replacement, glass repair and other services. The organisation bills itself as the largest mobile automotive battery retailer in the world.

Velrada will kick off a digital transformation project for Club Assist by rolling out Microsoft Dynamics across the organisation, covering mobile field service requirements, procurement, inventory, warehousing, customer experience, mobility and integration with legacy solutions.

Velrada chief executive Dom Nolan was rightly pleased with his company’s contract win.

“Club Assist went through a thorough selection process and took positive references from global Velrada clients such as Sodexo, Downer, Marubeni-Itochu Tubulars Oceania (MITO), and HostPlus. The scope of the transformation for Club Assist is significant and will bring significant operational and customer benefits,” said Nolan.

Club Assist CFO Darshan Parikh was similarly stoked with the partnership. “We can see a significant opportunity to transform our business; and improve customer service and operational efficiency. We considered a number of providers for this project, including international majors, but we settled on Velrada primarily for the quality of people, understanding of our needs and cost effective approach,” said Parikh.

Velrada said it’s is on track to hit $40 million in revenue this year and has been going deeper with Microsoft competencies this year around data and AI, Dynamics 365 and Azure.

The Perth-headquartered company received international recognition earlier this month when it was named as a finalist in Microsoft’s global partner award in the Dynamics 365 and Field Service category.
