Value Chain acquires Herald Logic
Melbourne-based information management company Value Chain has merged with Indian business process management provider Herald Logic.

The new entity will now target enterprise information management opportunities around the world.

Herald Logic has 35 staff across India and the US, while Value Chain has 640 staff across India, Singapore, Australia, the UK and US.

Herald Logic’s three founders will join Value Chain’s global senior management team and will report directly to Ananda Rao, CEO of Value Chain.

Value Chain, previously Benchmark Holdings, was founded by Rao – formerly Info-Sys Australia founder and executive director - in December through a $40 million funding injection from Indian property mogul, Mahadev Gowda.

The deal is the second merger/acquisition in three months. In April Value Chain acquired Digital Publishing Solutions.
