UC vendor Poly renews Transition Systems distie agreement as merged company

Unified communications vendor Poly has signed a distribution agreement with Sydney distributor Transition Systems.

The deal is effectively a renewal with Polycom, which rebranded to Poly when it merged with Plantronics earlier this year.

Transition, a subsidiary of Exclusive Networks, will carry Poly’s full communication and collaboration portfolio.

“Understanding the evolution of UC&C in the market today, at Transition Systems we welcome the merging of both Plantronics and Polycom under one banner,” Transition Systems Australia managing director Mike Beesley said.

“Poly presents a unique opportunity for the partner community to access world class products from one entity.”

Beesley said the distie will let resellers bundle solutions either on their own or with other third-party conferencing and collaboration vendors.

“We’re pleased to be expanding our partnership with Transition Systems,” Poly ANZ managing director Andy Hurt said.

“Our channel is an invaluable part of our business model and we look forward to working together in providing Poly’s world-class technology solutions for every workplace and workspace.”
