Telstra, Optus, Vodafone, Woolworths Mobile and a number of retailers have started taking pre-orders for the newly unveiled Samsung Galaxy S10 range.
Samsung unveiled the 6.1-inch Galaxy S10, the 6.4-inch S10+ and the 5.8-inch S10e overnight during the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event in San Francisco, alongside a 6.7-inch 5G enabled model and the Galaxy Fold.
The phones are available for pre-order through either postpaid plans, leases or bought outright, while the S10 5G and Galaxy Fold will be available for pre-orders at a later date. Telstra will be the exclusive telco to carry the 5G-enabled model as it comes out.
Woolworths Mobile is offering the cheapest 24-month plans among the four, starting at $59.53 per month for the Galaxy S10e. The S10 meanwhile starts at $65.78 per month and the S10+ starts at $72.03 per month.
Optus meanwhile offers options for either buying or leasing the phones. The S10e starts at $74 per month, the S10 starts at $79 per month and the S10+ starts at $89 per month. Leasing options are slightly cheaper per month, starting at $64 per month for the S10e.
Vodafone’s offerings are also available in 36-month repayment periods, lowering the costs per month. Without accounting for the mobile plans, the S10e starts at 33.30 per month, the S10 starts at $37.47 per month and the S10+ is at $41.63 per month.
Telstra’s offerings meanwhile are the most expensive on a per-month basis, and like Optus, the phones are also available for leasing. The S10e starts from $94 per month, the S10 starts at $99 per month and the S10+ starts at $114 per month.
All phones come with a free pair of Galaxy Buds, which retail at $249.
Retailers like JB Hi-Fi and Amazon Australia have also accepted pre-orders for the Galaxy S10 range. Pricing for each retailer are the same, with the S10e starting at $1199, the S10 starting at $1349 and the S10+ starting at $1499.
