Australian telecommunications provider MNF Group has secured a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) deal with Telstra Wholesale.
MNF and its subsidiary Symbio will now be able to offer 4G and 3G mobile services across domestic retail and domestic wholesale units.
MNF's mobile service will operate on its platform, iBoss, offering 95 percent 4G coverage in Australia. Combined, 4G and 3G coverage will serve 1.59 million square kilometres, according to the company.
Chief executive Rene Sugo said: "With more consumers bypassing the NBN and turning to ‘mobile-only’ as the alternative, we wanted to offer iBoss customers a go-to market solution for reaching this growing consumer segment."
According to MNF, the iBoss platform enables new mobile players to go to market in four weeks, activating SIM cards seven seconds after order placement.
Glenn Osborne, Telstra Wholesale executive director, sales, said: "The iBoss enablement platform has a long history interoperating with Telstra, being the first to onboard with the Telstra WME platform."
Telstra started to offer its 4G mobile services to its MVNO partners in April with limited speed.
Telstra is not the only telco in Australia to lease its mobile network, Vodafone opened its 4G network in June to Lebara, Macquarie Telecom, Hello Mobile, GoTalk and Pivotel Prepaid.
