Telstra today revealed the availability and pricing of the Samsung Galaxy S III 4G smartphone, almost one month after the handset was released locally through launch partner Optus.
The handset will hit Telstra stores on 9th October with prices starting at 24 months. The aforementioned S plan includes $600 talk/MMS value and 1GB data.

The 4G version of Samsung's popular flagship smartphone launched on the Optus 4G network approximately two weeks ago.
The handset is offered on a variety of Optus plans ranging from $30 a month with $21 monthly handset repayment, up to $80 a month with a $4 monthly handset fee.
The phone can also be purchased outright from Samsung’s Sydney experience centre for $899.
The Samsung Galaxy S III 4G is Telstra's tenth 4G product in Australia. Previous 4G hardware releases have included the HTC Velocity 4G, HTC Titan 4G, Samsung Tab 8.9 and portable Telstra 4G hotspot.
“With Telstra’s 4G coverage now available in more than 100 metropolitan and regional areas across the nation, customers will be able to enjoy a full speed experience in more than twice as many places as other 4G networks,” claimed Andrew Volard, Director, Telstra Mobile in a statement.
Customers can pre-order the device from Telstra's website starting from today.
