Australian-based TelcoSI - a provider of service management solutions to telecommunications users, service providers, integrators and equipment manufacturers in Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific region - has added Empirix's Hammer Test System and OneSight solution to its customer self-service offerings.
TelcoSI will now be able to offer its call centre customers the ability reduce deployment times and costs by automating call centre infrastructure feature and regression testing, said John Wood, managing director of TelcoSI.
According to Wood, TelcoSI has a wide range of customers including Commander, Telstra, Optus, Australian Securities and Investments Commission and Cisco Systems.
“As a specialist in the management of converged services, TelcoSI has a large and diverse customer base, providing a range of software-based solutions that help with the management of converged service performance, security, provisioning, monitoring, reporting and processes,” he said.
Wood claimed if its customers aren't able to deliver on their technology promises, then their customers won't be happy.
“Empirix has a proven track record in the US and Europe of providing solutions that address issues before they affect users, which makes it a great fit with our Customer Self-Service offerings. The range of Empirix solutions is a natural enhancement to our existing offerings of market leading service assurance and performance monitoring solutions," he said.
Empirix's Hammer Test Systems allow companies to test for, identify and fix issues before the customer is affected, while conducting ongoing monitoring with OneSight to ensure their systems continue to work as they have been designed. These tools then alert on performance degradation that has the potential to impact business - often before the end user becomes aware of any change, claimed Wood.
TelcoSI joins Empirix's other strategic distribution partners in EMEA, including Amercom Srl. in Italy, Elexo Corp in France, and Telenet GmbH in Germany, in addition to BATM in Israel and Verscom International in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
