The IP business telephony and communications supplier already has significant presence in the Australian market through its partner Fujitsu Australia.
Another of its partners in Australia is ACC but that has run into difficulties due to the economic crisis.
According to Zeev Aviv, vice president of sales and marketing of Tadiran Telecom, the company is fully committed to the expansion of its activities in Australia.
"We perceive Australia as a key market and we hope to contribute new ways in which Australian enterprises will communicate and transact business,” he said.
"Tadiran Telecom will be looking for new distribution channels. We see this setback as an opportunity to refresh and deepen our connection with the Australian market.
“Our past success with Fujitsu Australia has led to a very impressive installed customer base which, coupled with our great IP solutions, present tremendous opportunities for Tadiran Telecom in Australia."
The firm recently launched the Coral Sea Softswitch and will be releasing it to the Australian market in the near future.
"Tadiran's solutions allow enterprises to seamlessly utilize multiple layers of communication networks such as IP networks, Cellular, Wireless LAN, and WiMAX,” said Aviv.
“All of these communication networks are available in Australia and could be utilized by Australian enterprises, their seamless convergence is ideal for the Australian market."
