Synnex has joined Dicker Data, Ingram Micro, Avnet and Lynx Technologies as the fifth Australian distributor for the HP Enterprise Group portfolio.
The deal expands Synnex' HP footprint; the distie has had HP Personal and Printing Systems' range for more than 10 years.
HP Enterprise Group ranges from converged systems to the cloud, including servers, storage and networking components.

Synnex's strong footprint in the SMB market should help HP grows its presence among smaller resellers, said Synnex product marketing director Darren Tan.
"A lot of vendors are looking at the SMB space and we have the infrastructure in that space. HP Enterprise Group is a very important piece in our push into [the commercial sector], because in commercial you can go all the way from SMB to enterprise and they have the full suite."
Synnex started distributing HP's Imaging & Printing product in 2002, then expanded into consumables in 2003 and got into the notebook business in 2005.
Kee Ong, CEO of Synnex Australia said: "We are excited to have this additional piece of HP. The longstanding partnership with HP has allowed our team to provide the best support to our reseller partners."
Correction: An earlier version of this story failed to include Avnet and Lynx Technologies as HP Enterprise distributors.
