Darren Tan, PMP division manager at Synnex, said the relocation to the new premises spans over two units in the suburb of Lidcombe, Sydney.
Tan told CRN, it will see the distributor continue to expand both its inventory and increase its local customer base.
“Under the current financial crisis, the more products we can get locally, rather than having to transfer interstate, makes it easier to service our customers,” he said.
The expansion, rolls off the back of its recent moves of the Brisbane and Perth warehouses.
“It’s one of the first times we have moved all three of our warehouses in three different states, with the main aim to support our customer base.
According to Tan, Synnex owns 25 trucks to service resellers and doesn’t rely on third party couriers.
“We are able to absorb the fuel charges and have no plans to increase freight costs,” he said.
“Despite the slowdown in the economy our reseller base has steadily increased.”
