Synnex brings Kentico's software to cloud marketplace

Synnex has signed with Kentico Software to distribute the vendor's solutions in Australia and New Zealand.

Headquartered in the Czech Republic, Kentico is a CMS, e-commerce and online marketing software vendor and a Microsoft Gold partner.

Synnex partners will have access to Kentico's solutions through its cloud marketplace. According to the distributor, Kentico's network of more than 1000 digital agency partners in 80 countries can now leverage the Synnex cloud offerings to provide IaaS and SaaS solutions to their end clients, helping them expand their business revenue.

Michael Tea, Synnex general manager, ecommerce and cloud services, said: "This is another great initiative from the Synnex cloud team. Our partners can now extend the scope of its professional services and earn margins on selling cloud servers with Kentico platform subscriptions."

Tea also said Synnex was offering partners a reseller webstore based on Kentico to sell 12,000 products in its portfolio online.

Kee Ong, Synnex Australia and New Zealand chief executive, said: "Resellers will be able to package Kentico's integrated CMS and e-commerce solution with cloud infrastructure from IBM Softlayer, Rackspace or Microsoft Azure through the Synnex Cloud Automation Platform."

The vendor has just released Kentico Cloud, its new cloud-first digital experience platform for Australian businesses that, according to the company, eases the burden of running a CMS.

The vendor believes the approach of a platform that supports the needs of both marketers and developers it's a "big difference" when compared to other API-first CMS offerings built "strictly for technical users".

Wayne Jasek, Kentico's director of Asia-Pacific said: "We're really excited about the newly announced cooperation with Synnex. We believe this relationship will enable more solution providers and customers to use Kentico without the need to manage the hosting environment setup."
