Synnex Australia has entered a partnership with ATEN to offer its line of specialised computer, audio and visual connectivity management solutions to the Australian market.
ATEN, based in Taiwan produces a range of audio-visual adaptors, switches, extenders, cabling equipment, video-over-IP solutions and control systems.
Synnex Australia product director Yu Chen Liao said the vendor would grow the distributor’s current connectivity offering.
“Synnex is excited to offer ATEN’s complete solution set to our reseller partners, as well as other vertical market segments, including government, transportation, banking and finance, education, mining, telecommunications, entertainment, retail, large enterprise, small offices, and even home offices,” he said.
“ATEN is a multi-award winning leader in helping people and businesses make better connections. This partnership reinforces and expands our connectivity and management solutions portfolio, giving resellers and customers greater choice.”
Wesley Wong, ATEN Australia and New Zealand business manager said the appointment of Synnex was a “crucial step” towards expanding his company’s footprint.
“We recognise Synnex’s strength as a respected solutions provider and the strong partnerships they have with key system integrators in the industry. We’re excited for this partnership as it will enable ATEN to leverage, expand and reach markets where we currently have little presence,” he said.
The Synnex distribution agreement with ATEN follows the vendor's deal with Madison Technologies, signed last August.
ATEN's other Australian distributors are Anyware and Bluechip Information Technology.
In addition to its Taipei base of operations, ATEN has four additional offices across Asia, four offices throughout Europe, two in the United States, one in Latin America and one Australian office in Sydney. The company was established in 1979.
