Sydney-based communications integrator Enablis has completed a Cisco network overhaul connecting 170 sites for aged care provider UnitingCare NSW.ACT.
Enablis had six months to complete the work, which saw approximately 30 new Cisco routers deployed and Enablis take over the management and support of existing routers. The work was finished in August this year.
As well as Cisco routers, Sciencelogic was deployed for management and reporting. Enablis delivers its data network solution under its own product name comUnity Data platform.
The rollout also gives UnitingCare NSW.ACT the option of rolling out VoIP/SIP or managed Wi-Fi in the future.
Enablis won a formal RFP process, with UnitingCare NSW.ACT looking for a provider that could understand the pressures of the not-for-profit sector.
It’s not the first not-for-profit rollout for Enablis. The company also completed a network overhaul for St Vincent de Paul Society NSW.
