Cloud commerce marketplace Pax8 has partnered with cybersecurity firm Sophos to offer comprehensive security solutions to its network of more than 40,000 managed service providers (MSPs).
The collaboration, which launches on 28 February 2025, will give MSPs access to Sophos' complete portfolio of cybersecurity products through a single vendor platform, including Managed Detection and Response, Endpoint powered by Intercept X, and Sophos Firewall.
"MSPs say they could cut day to day management time almost in half by consolidating on a single cybersecurity platform – and Sophos enables them to achieve that goal," Raja Patel, chief product officer at Sophos said.
Recent research from Sophos reveals MSPs can reduce their daily security management time by nearly 50 per cent when consolidating with a single vendor.
This figure increases to 69 per cent for those currently managing six or more security vendors.
"MSPs want to align with vendors who are easy to work with and this agreement will make it even easier for MSPs to work with Sophos, something we've long been committed to," Sophos chief executive Joe Levy said.
The partnership aims to streamline operations for MSPs by simplifying procurement and billing through Pax8's marketplace while providing enterprise-grade security solutions for small and medium-sized business customers.
Pax8 chief executive Scott Chasin said the collaboration addresses the need for cloud-first, flexible solutions that are easy to manage at scale.
Sophos' MDR service, which protects over 28,000 organisations globally, will also provide enhanced security coverage for Microsoft environments, including support during nights and weekends when cyber attackers often strike.
