The event was held to showcase Sony products available to Australians for Christmas.
UCHI is a purpose built, concept space created with designer Amanda Henderson.
“Our vision is to be the leading global provider of networked consumer electronics and entertainment,” said Carl Rose, managing director of Sony Australia.
“As a company that thrives on possibility, our new line-up and the showcase we’ve created are an expression of this vision and of our brand personality.
“We’re bringing design, innovation and engineering together to create the kind of memorable experience that Australians have come to expect from Sony,” he added.
The showcase included the ‘world’s smallest’ Blu-ray enabled notebook from VAIO, the slim BRAVIA ZX1 Full HD LCD TV and digital noise-cancelling headphones, which reduce up to 99.1 percent of ambient noise.
Other products included Sony’s Walkman, Cyber-shot, VAIO, Audio, Blu-ray, Handycam, a (Alpha), and BRAVIA ranges.
Those who contributed to the launch were photographer Gary Heery and fashion icon Collette Dinnigan, who designed a gown exclusively for UCHI.
