Software AG has named Ana Travers as its partner and alliance manager for Australia and New Zealand.
Travers comes in to change Software AG's approach from a services-focused company to a partner-oriented one. She will be responsible for developing a sales relationship with partners.
Prior to Travers, Scott Raggatt was Software AG's senior alliance director and had similar responsibilities until he left for Hewlett Packard Enterprise in January 2016.
Travers’ role includes building and enhancing Software AG’s channel and partner program as well as working with partners, according to the company.
Travers is an IBM veteran with 20 years' ICT experience where she held executive positions ranging from territory manager, channel manager and solutions channel manager. Travers has also worked for CA Technologies and Infor.
"We are looking to invest in and grow our channel and partner program in Australia and New Zealand as it is an integral component to our business," said Travers.
Software AG managing director Gordon Gakovic said: "The ANZ region is one of the most progressive regions that is embracing digital transformation and cloud services, so there is a huge opportunity for Software AG in this market with our new digital business platform."
