Ingram Micro has signed up to distribute Sony Ericsson’s family of smart phones.
The distributor will have access to Sony’s full range of business handsets, including the M600i and P990i models.
Matthew Sanderson, product and marketing director at Ingram said the distributor has aligned itself with one of the strongest players in the PDA/mobility space.
“We're very excited to add this Sony Ericsson range of handsets and accessories to our extensive mobility portfolio," he said.
Sony Ericsson's set of products will complement Ingram’s existing smart phone range and add to its channel offering in the mobility space, said Sanderson.
“It’s a very opportune time for us, given our increased focus on the consumer electronics and communications markets. We’re also developing new relationships with resellers who specialise in these market segments, so our new range from Sony Ericsson will fit nicely with our existing and new customers’ product portfolios,” he said.
