It claims this is due to the demand for Unified Communications in the various states outside NSW including WA, NT, Queensland.
Its recent signing is ML Communications which has branches in North Perth, Geraldton, Bunbury and Mandurah.
The reseller specialises in solutions for small and midsize businesses (SMB) working in light industry, retail and the service sectors.
Neville Robb, managing director at ML Communications said it will offer the complete range of ShoreTel UC solutions, including IP telephones, switches and software packages.
"The ShoreTel UC system provides excellent performance and delivers advanced features to enhance customer service," said Robb.
"ML Communications' customers have already shown keen interest in ShoreTel products and welcome the access to UC technology,"
Vasili Triant, managing director of ShoreTel, Southeast Asia, (pictured), welcomed the relationship with ML Communications as it expands its national network of premium resellers throughout the region.
He said the company currently has 44 resellers and has signed on 12 more in the last quarter.
"We are trying to look at customers who will be acquiring different segments of the market eg government or small end commercial businesses," he said.
"We are not trying to flood the market with resellers. Our model is to have the least amount of resellers with the most amount of penetration.
"We are nowhere near complete. "
