ShoreTel reveals top Australian partners

Five Australian ShoreTel partners have been recognised as part of the vendor's annual rewards program.

Sydney-based Linktech Australia was the winner of the highest total revenue for the new partner category.

Services provider Viatek Group won the category of highest year-on-year growth for an existing partner. Established in 1984, the Sydney-based company has 23 offices across Australia.

South Australia-based services provider Calibre One was awarded for having the most leads registered. The company recently merged with Telstra partner Nexus Tel and became a ShoreTel partner three years ago and is one of the vendor's top ten Australian partners.

Hayley Imlay, business development manager and director at Calibre One said her company's relationship with ShoreTel had fostered positive growth.

"Calibre One and its strong alliance with ShoreTel over the past three years has established a solid footprint in providing cutting edge IP solutions in the business and enterprise space of regional areas," she said.

"We appreciate the recognition by ShoreTel in supporting us in achieving this, and I am delighted to embark in this once in a lifetime experience."

PTS Communications, the first ShoreTel qualified reseller in Australia, was recognised for having the highest number of new customer wins by a partner, while Victoria-based PowerNet was awarded for being the partner with the highest monthly recurring revenue bookings.

Individual winners will be announced later.

The awards ceremony will take place in Florida during ShoreTel's partner conference between 4-8 December.

ShoreTel will take all the winners to Orlando, where a day trip to the NASA facilities at Cape Canaveral has been lined up.
